At least, that'sthe conclusion of Site Selection Magazine, that just namedTennessee's business climate FIFTH BEST in the United States, for thesecond year in a row! BEST business climate in the U.S.? North Carolina, followed byTexas, Ohio, Georgia, and Tennessee. From the Nashville City Paper: *** BEGIN QUOTE *** Half the ranking score was derived from a survey of corporatesite selectors, which ranked Tennessee sixth nationally. "Corporate site selectors' input is crucial. They indicatewhich 10 states they think have the best business climate based ontheir experience of managing property assets around the country,"wrote the magazine's editor, Mark Arend, in the article announcingthe latest ranks. The ranking also took into account the state's performance incategories including new or expanded projects and new plantperformance.
